I plan to use this blog to update you on my journey as a dancer in Toronto, trying to make my dreams come true.

So, what have I been up to?

Recently, I completed a 6-month contract with The Empire Strips Back, touring Canadian cities and making Canadians laugh and hoot at each show. Now, I'm learning to deal with the comedown from such an incredible run of performing 5 days a week and switching cities every few weeks. I was so focused on the contract and living out of my suitcase that coming home and experiencing a moment of stillness really freaked me out at first. Fortunately, I had the opportunity to perform at Baby's Cabaret on weekends, putting together new acts and showcasing my pole skills. However, over the last 3 months of my contract, it became more difficult to practice pole dancing in my spare time, as I no longer had one to train with at home. Despite my efforts to take my pole to Montreal and set it up in the Airbnb, it wasn't realistic to travel with such a large pole. Now that I am home, I'm grateful to be training again, getting stronger, and honing my skills. I'm thrilled to be in a position where I can do gig work, perform at corporate and nightlife events, and truly immerse myself in my training to continue building myself to be the best I can be. I am very excited to start with Muse The Company in the fall to train with some of the best in the city. Additionally, I am starting to take acting classes at LB to enhance my acting skills!
